The 165 grain bolt of lead and copper hits 1,130 fps out of a 4” barrel. Supersonic; 460+ ft lbs striking energy if the threat’s close enough that you can smell what they had for lunch.
Sealed primers protect ammo against humidity in storage and rainfall outdoors. They don’t waterproof ammo per se, but they are welcome added protection all the same.
