When Hornady sets out to design a match accurate 308 Win cartridge, they take things very seriously. That’s why this round features the old Nebraskan company’s 155 grain A-MAX – a polymer tipped projectile which is centered all around delivering the precise trajectory you need to do your finest shooting.

The A-MAX points an ultra low-drag polymer tip at its target. This balances the bullet’s center of pressure relative to its center of gravity, and greatly improves its overall in-flight stability as the result. The A-MAX’s swaged lead core and hyper concentric AMP jacket only give it greater balance. And because the bullet’s centered tip, sleek secant ogive profile and optimally angled boat tail all stir up so little drag, it is able to showcase a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.435. That’s how it retains approximately 86 percent of its initial velocity at 200 yards, and only drops to -7.6” at 300 yards after reaching a 200-yard zero.
