This is about as military-grade as 223 Rem ammo comes. That’s because the Nebraskan company on its label handed the task of loading their 55 grain FMJ bullets to the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant: chief small arms ammo supplier to the U.S. Armed Forces.
Its bullets are nonmagnetic. Its primers are noncorrosive. Its cases are new and reloadable. You’ll no doubt notice the cases’ darkened shoulders, which only indicate that the brass wasn’t polished following heat treatment. It’s arguably less pretty, but you’re not going to the range so you can win a beauty contest (which isn’t to say you wouldn’t win if you entered one).
